For beginners or amateur photographers, the lens delivered excellent results. When tested it is seen that the color saturation is decent with a little pop of warmer hues. In low lighting, this model does an excellent job with color representation, which was maintained across the ISO ranges but with a little image softening that creeps in at ISO 6400 above which is usual for cameras at this price range. The Canon EOS 1500D comes with four video recording options 1920 x 1080 full HD at 25fps and 24fps, 1280 x 720 HD at 50fps and 640 x 480 VGA at 25fps with pretty standard settings for an entry-level DSLR.
